ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida is seeking an experienced Practice Administrator to lead our team in providing exceptional patient care and operational excellence. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our medical practice, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality patient care, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational leadership and direction to ensure completion of medical practice and corporate objectives and goals.
- Manage assigned personnel, ancillary departments, and key initiatives to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned personnel and ancillary departments, including review and analysis of key metrics, conducting regular meetings, and developing recommendations for operational improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all various regulatory agencies and personnel issues, including HIPAA, FLSA, EEO, ADA, OSHA, and CT accreditation.
- Work closely with regional leaders to determine profitability, staffing, processes, and growth opportunities.
- Review and approve bi-weekly payroll and make needed adjustments for proper and timely processing.
- Provide day-to-day HR oversight and work with the centralized HR department on postings for job openings, employee issues, adherence to HR policy, disciplinary actions, and proper onboarding of new employees.
- Develop and implement long-range strategic plans to support practice growth and goals, including implementation and monitoring of ongoing effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or similar degree.
- Three or more years of management experience in a busy multi-physician medical practice.
- Ability to deal effectively and quickly with patients, physicians, and employees.
- Possess the ability to think on the spot and clearly make decisions in initiating business office policy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and staff.
- Possesses knowledge of modern office equipment, systems, and procedures.
