As a Senior Energy Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a critical role in unlocking energy efficiency opportunities for our clients. With a focus on energy systems monitoring and measurement, you will work with our team to enhance mission resiliency through connected energy systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze electrical one-line diagrams to support energy-intensive facilities
- Assess the condition of energy infrastructure, including metering systems, to identify areas for improvement
- Design and configure current transformers, meters, and associated communications systems
- Advocate for programmatic metering processes and best practices
- Lead a team of engineers and facilitate interaction between clients and partners
- Experience with metering technology and energy control systems
- Knowledge of environmental, sustainability, and energy efficiency regulations
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience with Schneider Electric Ecostruxure Control Expert
- Experience with Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA)
- Experience working with Utility Interconnection, Demand Response Aggregators, and Curtailment Service Providers
