Job Overview

The Mechanical Engineer will serve as a technical expert and engineering consultant on mission-critical infrastructure, systems, and equipment. This role requires the application of professional knowledge of scientific and engineering concepts to assess specific requirements, design engineered solutions, and develop preliminary and final design plans, engineering specifications, cost estimates, and procurement packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply professional knowledge of scientific and engineering concepts to assess specific requirements and design engineered solutions.
  • Develop preliminary and final design plans, engineering specifications, cost estimates, and procurement packages.
  • Specify functional requirements, design, and test components, analyze designs, and integrate components.
  • Evaluate overall design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
  • Design, analyze, configure, test, and troubleshoot systems, and provide project engineering/program management support, development, and evaluation support, and/or engineering/life cycle support of a complex nature.
  • Conduct surveys and investigations at project sites to secure necessary data prior to initiating design work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 0-2 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in business tools, including database applications, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, CAD, BIM, and Energy Management and Modeling.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and multiple priorities.
  • Expertise in MS Office and graphics/publishing software.
  • Exhibit creativity, motivation, persistence, and versatility.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high professional standards.
