About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Professional Engineering Consulting team. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of professional engineers and designers specializing in Energy Projects. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing design parameters, including design concepts, engineering criteria, equipment and instrumentation specifications, and code interpretations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical analysis and calculations to facilitate design activities for Energy Facilities.
  • Develop and implement electrical system designs, including area classification studies, arc flash/short circuit studies, and protective relay coordination studies.
  • Design and specify electrical power distribution and control equipment, including voltage drop calculations and motor control schematics.
  • Conduct quality reviews of drawings to ensure compliance with safety-first design practices and applicable industry codes.
  • Coordinate and communicate project-specific deliverables with team members of all disciplines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas (preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with expertise in ETAP, SKM, or equivalent software.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
