We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to oversee the integrity and performance of our Next Generation 911 (NG911) systems, specifically designed for Fire and Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) services. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting, implementing, and managing thorough testing protocols to uphold the highest standards of compliance with industry regulations and quality metrics.
Key Responsibilities:- Compliance Assurance: Guarantee adherence to industry standards and quality regulations within the NG911 systems, emphasizing FIRE and EMD dispatch.
- Testing Strategy Development: Formulate and execute both exploratory and automated testing methodologies to validate product quality. Construct detailed, comprehensive, and structured test plans and cases tailored to FIRE & EMD dispatch systems.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate and prioritize testing efforts in partnership with relevant stakeholders and associated vendors.
- Automation Development: Create and implement automation scripts to optimize testing processes, ensuring effective integration and functionality of FIRE and EMD components.
- Process Innovation: Design and implement testing methodologies to guarantee the integrity and operational efficiency of FIRE and EMD systems within the NG911 framework.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- 12+ Years of Relevant Experience: Extensive experience in a related technical or business application, product, platform, methodology, or skill set.
- Experience in Public Safety Testing: Demonstrated expertise in testing applications or systems related to Public Safety and Dispatch.
- Integration Experience: Previous experience in integration and testing of large systems, particularly within a public safety environment.
- Analytical Skills: A proactive problem-solving approach, showcasing strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities, both technical and non-technical.
- Familiarity with Testing Tools: Proficient in using testing tools such as Selenium Test Suite, Mercury Interactive Tools, Maven, and Rational SQA Suite/Team Test.
