Job SummaryAs a Journeyman Truck Technician, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks in our shop. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that repairs are completed accurately and timely.
Responsibilities- Perform repairs on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks, including electronic trouble-shooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair.
- Direct the work of other technicians and may lead the shift in the Foreman's absence.
- Work under little or no supervision and have excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Provide own tools and have basic computer knowledge.
- 5 or more years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks.
- Dealership experience is a plus.
