About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Holland America Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of motorcoaches, bag trucks, and light duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel engines, electrical systems, and air conditioning systems.
  • Apply knowledge of maintenance procedures, government regulations, and company expectations to review and determine action on driver inspection reports.
  • Maintain accurate and complete maintenance records, including work orders, Federal inspections, and DVIRs.
  • Clean and maintain work areas and company tools and equipment.
  • Prioritize work, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to accuracy and detail while working in a team environment.
Requirements
  • Equivalent to a technical school certification in vehicle maintenance or directly related work experience.
  • CFC Handler Certified and Brake Inspection Qualified is preferred.
  • Motorcoach Maintenance, Preferred, 1 year.
  • Heavy Duty Truck Maintenance, Preferred, 1 year.
  • Light duty vehicle maintenance.

  • Diesel Engine troubleshooting and repair.
  • Electrical system troubleshooting and repair.
  • Air conditioning troubleshooting and repair.
