Job Summary

At Danaher Corporation, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and manage the sales functions within the West region. As a key member of our Global Sales Organization, you will be responsible for driving orders growth, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring the overall success of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the West region, aligned with company objectives and market dynamics.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Conduct periodic performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management to support business planning and resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a life science related field, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience hiring for and managing a remote sales team in the Life Sciences industry, or related experiences.
  • At least 5 years proven experience in commercial sales roles in the Life Sciences industry.
  • At least 1 year of sales or sales management for a Contract Development and/or Contract Manufacturing Organizations supporting Cell and Gene Therapies.
  • At least 1 year of sales experience into the clinical drug development process, including knowledge of call points, sales cycle and KOL for Biotech and Pharma in the Cell and Gene Therapy space.
