Cancer Care Nursing Supervisor

US Oncology, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisor to oversee our oncology services. This role is vital in ensuring the highest standards of patient care across multiple facilities.

The Nursing Supervisor will manage clinical operations and support our nursing teams in delivering exceptional care to cancer patients. Our commitment to patient-centered care is reflected in every aspect of our work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and monitor performance objectives for nursing staff in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with established standards of care that reflect community practices.
  • Facilitate staff development through recruitment, training, and performance evaluations in collaboration with nursing leadership.
  • Contribute to the creation of clinical competency assessments and skills validation initiatives.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of relevant labor regulations and manage staffing schedules, including leave and overtime considerations.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be graduates of an accredited nursing program, with a preference for BSN or MSN degrees. A valid RN license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing are required. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of nursing experience, including at least three years in oncology, with oncology certification preferred.
