Ultrasound Imaging Specialist

At Innovista Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical activities associated with the operation of ultrasound equipment to conduct screening and diagnostic examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing patients for exams, explaining procedures, and positioning patients for optimal imaging
- Selecting appropriate imaging techniques and ensuring technical quality of images
- Performing quality control functions related to ultrasound equipment
- Evaluating radiographs for diagnostic quality and obtaining additional images as needed
- Preparing and setting up medical supplies using aseptic techniques
- Developing ultrasound films and matching them with relevant paperwork for interpretation
- Assisting in the maintenance and compilation of statistical data
- Demonstrating proficiency in performing all ultrasound procedures, including interventional procedures
- Acting in a team leader capacity on a routine basis
- Monitoring ultrasound section procedures and supply charges for completeness and accuracy
Requirements:
- ARDM certification in radiography required
- ARRT advanced certification in ultrasound required
- BLS certification required
- 1 year of experience required
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time to local clinics
