Job Summary

The Multi-Modality Ultrasound Tech performs a variety of imaging procedures, including MRI, mammography, CT, ultrasound, and X-ray, to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist and position patients for imaging procedures
  • Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions
  • Turn over and prepare rooms using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification
  • Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) certification
  • High School Graduate/GED
