About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Key Carrier and Coordinator at TJ Maxx. As a Key Carrier, you will alternate between performing the role of Coordinator and taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Create a positive internal and external customer experience by providing exceptional service and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Leadership: Act as Manager on Duty, adhering to company policy and procedure, and ensure that store team members perform tasks and activities in accordance with store plan.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience, and maintain accurate records and reports as required.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management and Associates, providing progress updates and feedback, and ensuring that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
  • Team Development: Provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates, and partner with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
  • Adherence to Policies: Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, and promote a culture of honesty and integrity within the store.
Requirements
  • Availability: Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond effectively to challenging situations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures, as well as merchandise flow in stores.

We offer a competitive starting pay range of $18.00 to $18.50 per hour, as well as a range of benefits, including Associate discount, EAP, smoking cessation, bereavement, 401(k) Associate contributions, child care & cell phone discounts, pet & legal insurance, credit union, referral bonuses, and more.
