About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and developing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • A current state RN license or multistate compact license.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days after hire date).
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months after hire date.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
