About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a Medical-Surgical RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition of care.

Requirements
  • A current state RN license or a current multistate compact license.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days after hire date).
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.
  • Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date.
