Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit strong time management abilities while engaging with patients in person and ensuring accurate documentation in patient registration systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in navigating various computer systems, including patient registration and accounting platforms, telephone systems, document imaging, and payment processing.
  • Possess a foundational understanding of patient access and financial counseling across both acute and non-acute care settings.
  • Maintain familiarity with insurance protocols and medical terminology, as well as knowledge of relevant regulations such as the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA) and Consent Laws.

Essential Qualifications:
Applicants should have a proven track record in managing administrative tasks with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service. Experience in accurately verifying documentation is crucial, along with familiarity in a front office environment, including patient check-in and information verification. Candidates must be adept in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and possess comprehensive knowledge of the registration and scheduling processes within hospital operations.
