We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at AdventHealth Porter. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity working nights, providing care to patients on the Medical/Neuro unit. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will assist with delegated patient care tasks, provide person-centered care, and work collaboratively with the care team to achieve daily patient and family goals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks
  • Provide person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience
  • Assist the care team in achieving daily patient and family goals
  • Provide quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED (required within one year of hire)
  • Certified Nursing Assistant - State Registered
  • BLS certification credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
