We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Analysis to join our team at the Center for Security and Emerging Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Analysis Team, leading research projects, and providing strategic guidance to support the Center's mission.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage research projects, including project planning, execution, and quality control
- Develop and implement research strategies to advance the Center's mission and goals
- Provide strategic guidance to the Analysis Team, including mentoring and coaching
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and their security implications, providing expert analysis and recommendations
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as public policy, national security, or political science
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in policy making, policy research, and/or analysis roles
- Proven track record of leading research projects and teams
- Excellent analytical, writing, and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Ph.D. in a relevant field
- Experience working in a think tank or university-affiliated research center
- Experience managing full-time employees
