Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Clinic Assistant PRN plays a vital role in ensuring efficient operations within the clinic. Key responsibilities include:
  • Welcoming and communicating with patients.
  • Monitoring patient waiting areas.
  • Performing administrative tasks and assisting clinical staff with non-clinical duties.
  • Managing patient appointment scheduling and cancellations.
  • Answering phone inquiries and verifying patient information.
  • Collecting co-payments and personal balances.
  • Escorting patients to examination rooms and taking patient weights.
  • Preparing examination rooms with necessary equipment and materials.
  • Adhering to infection control policies and assisting with instrument sterilization.
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and managing medical records.
