Compensation: $55/hr - $60/hr W2 (negotiable)

Role Overview:

  • The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering patient care in collaboration with the supervising Physician.
  • Clinical procedures are performed under the guidance of the attending Physician, adhering to established protocols.
  • Initiation and modification of orders for tests and patient care are based on patient conditions and Physician approval.
  • Maintaining an active practice within healthcare facilities is essential.
  • Gathering comprehensive medical histories and relevant data from patients and families while ensuring accurate medical records is a key responsibility.
  • Evaluating patient conditions and medical requirements to develop a care plan for Physician approval is crucial.
  • Advanced clinical procedures may be performed in emergency situations as required.
  • Orders for routine laboratory, radiologic, and diagnostic tests are initiated based on Physician directives and established protocols.
  • Adjustments to patient care orders are made in response to changes in patient conditions, under Physician guidance.
  • Assisting the Physician during hospital rounds and documenting progress in patient medical records is part of the role.
  • Participation in Continuing Medical Education Programs and delivering educational sessions for nursing staff and other personnel is expected.
  • The ideal candidate demonstrates effective communication with patients, staff, and Physicians, provides competent and professional patient care, and stays updated on current research to enhance clinical practice.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing

Experience: Minimum of 2 years required

Certifications:

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS): Certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
