Job Summary:

As a seasoned Culinary Professional, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring a safe and sanitary work environment for the team. Your expertise will be instrumental in preparing or directing the preparation of meals in accordance with corporate guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Develop and implement regular and modified menus that meet established guidelines.
  • Culinary Excellence: Follow standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards to deliver high-quality meals.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, equipment operation, food safety, and sanitation based on Company and regulatory standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of food and non-food supplies, ensuring availability while staying within established guidelines.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations, as evidenced through local health department and third-party audits.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Follow facility, department, and Company safety policies and procedures, including occurrence reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Culinary Education: A.S. or equivalent experience.
  • Culinary Experience: Minimum of three to five years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending on formal degree or training.
  • Catering Experience: Extensive catering experience a plus.
  • Foodservice Operations: High volume, complex foodservice operations experience highly desirable.
  • Computer Skills: Experienced with computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, email, and the Internet.
  • ServSafe Certification: Highly desirable.
