Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse II to join our team at Emory University. As a key member of our clinical trials team, you will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and evaluating clinical research trials, studies, and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement research protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
  • Recruit and screen potential study participants, and provide patient and family education accordingly.
  • Oversee financial accounts to ensure operations remain within approved levels.
  • Perform patient evaluations, administer medications, and research instruments, and provide nursing support for specialized diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures.
  • Make referrals to in-house or community professionals and serve as a clinical resource.
  • Collect data, assist in developing data collection systems, and compile reports.
  • May provide infusion duties.
  • Assist in writing research grants, publications in medical and nursing literature, study materials, brochures, and correspondence.
  • Provide direction and may supervise other Research Nurses or other support members.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
  • Three years of related nursing experience.
  • Credentialed through Emory Healthcare under the category of RN II.
