Join Our Team as a Customer Support Specialist

Overview:

A dynamic healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Customer Support Specialist to enhance our team. This role offers a long-term career opportunity within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming communications via phone, email, and fax from clients and the public.
  • Provide detailed information regarding our testing services and associated costs.
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Create new client accounts and process orders accurately.
  • Document all interactions and actions taken in the designated database.
  • Identify when issues need to be escalated to higher management for further assistance.
  • Participate in cross-training initiatives to foster collaboration across departments.
  • Communicate customer feedback and internal challenges to the Customer Service Leads or Manager.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
