About NDX: NDX is a prominent organization in the healthcare sector, focusing on the dental field. We provide a comprehensive range of specialized products, services, and technologies tailored to meet various dental restoration requirements. Our network includes over 50 laboratories nationwide.

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Fixed Operations Manager to oversee our Fixed Department. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our department and will involve collaboration with various teams.

Work Schedule: The standard working hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of adjustments as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Department Managers and the General Manager.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to discuss strategies for upcoming promotional initiatives.
  • Ensure sufficient equipment and staffing to support sales efforts.
  • Engage with the Doctor Relations Team and Supervisors to address customer needs effectively.
  • Provide education and training for department managers.
  • Assist in the training of new technicians across all product phases.
  • Support product pricing and task value assessments.
  • Conduct evaluations of managers and technicians at designated intervals.
  • Plan for annual payroll increases for non-production team members.
  • Complete necessary documentation for absences due to illness, vacation, or tardiness.
  • Implement disciplinary actions and terminations in line with company policies.
  • Monitor production flow to minimize unnecessary overtime.
  • Identify and plan improvements in techniques and workflow.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Strong computer skills, including typing and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all staff levels, leadership, and customers while fostering teamwork.
  • Knowledge of Performance Management, Project Management, Coaching, Quality Management, and Standards Development.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
  • Capability to promote teamwork and collaboration.
  • Proactive and takes initiative.
  • Excellent listening skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • At least 5 years of management experience is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental technician, demonstrating competency in the relevant area.
  • Proven leadership skills, either through experience or recognition.

Equipment and Materials:

  • Familiarity with chemicals and small hand tools.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform tasks at various workstations, including standing and sitting for extended periods.
