Job Summary:
The Receiving Supervisor Perishables is responsible for overseeing all receiving operations, ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of products, and supervising a team of receiving team members. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train receiving team members to ensure accurate and efficient receipt of products
- Ensure proper product temperatures are reviewed, validated, maintained, and documented in the warehouse management system
- Monitor and audit daily operations to ensure compliance with GMP, COOL procedures, HAACP, and other food safety guidelines
- Complete and file error and exception walk-through templates, pre-shift assignments, and update equipment condition checklists
- Ensure emergency contact lists and building conditions are up to date and accessible
- Review and take action based on daily and weekly APT and utilization reports to ensure acceptable levels of performance
- Account for any inventory losses or product shrink
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Experience in receiving operations and inventory control
- Knowledge of GMP, COOL procedures, HAACP, and other food safety guidelines
