About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Center Technician to join our team at Rhodium Shared Services LLC. As a Data Center Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and identify infrastructure failures, responding promptly to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Perform daily visual inspections and reporting to maintain a high level of facility cleanliness and organization.
  • Ensure proper care and handling of equipment and supplies, working cross-functionally with the inventory team to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Perform routine cleaning functions, including dusting, sweeping, washing floors, sanitizing bathrooms, and waste disposal, as required.
  • Operate equipment, including floor sweepers, floor scrubbers, forklifts, and scissor lifts, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of infrastructure, data center operations, and cleaning methods, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Comply with all safety requirements, including OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Prior technical or construction/laborer experience is preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and follow safety procedures are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to perform physical labor in high-heat situations.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, communication, and results-oriented approach.
