We are in search of a Trauma & Acute Care Surgeon to enhance our dynamic faculty team within the Department of Surgery. CSMC operates as a 958-bed academic medical center equipped with cutting-edge surgical facilities, an independent surgical residency program, and a fellowship in surgical ICU.
The selected candidate will take charge of managing trauma cases, emergency surgical procedures, and the surgical ICU on a rotational schedule. We welcome applications from individuals at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Education and research are integral components of our Trauma ACS faculty surgeons' roles, and we are open to accommodating other interests within general surgery.

Compensation Overview
We provide a competitive total compensation package that encompasses salary, benefits, and additional incentive programs. The total compensation range reflects a variety of factors, including expertise, relevant experience, educational background, and organizational considerations. This range includes any applicable incentive payments. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package for faculty members. Compensation Range: $424,435 - $655,467 total cash compensation.
Qualifications
- MD or MD/PhD
- Completion of Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Training
- Eligibility for Medical Staff Membership at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
- Eligibility for an unrestricted California Medical License
- Eligibility for appointment to the appropriate academic rank in the CSMC Professorial Series
- Eligibility and/or Certification by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery or its equivalent
