We are seeking a Production Specialist to join our team at Dormakaba USA Inc. in Reamstown, PA.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $42,000 - $52,000, based on the hourly rate of $20-$25/hr, including a $1.00/hr shift differential plus mandatory overtime as needed.

About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for performing assembly and packaging tasks required in the manufacturing process of automatic doors. This includes preparing work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

  1. Assemble subassemblies and components for correct fit, including headers, jambs, transoms, and door panels to established specifications.
  2. Package product to established standards - headers, jambs, transoms, and door panels.
  3. Ensure equipment is operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs, where necessary.
  4. Use hand tools to assemble and measure required parts.
  5. Verify specifications by measuring completed component and reject if established quality standards are not met.
  6. Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.

This role requires general assembly skills, mechanical aptitude, and manual dexterity. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma and/or GED certification and the ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
