Compensation:

$140,000 - $160,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in diverse family law issues including divorce, child custody, and domestic violence
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to remain updated on family law statutes and case law
  • Provide legal counsel and advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations
  • Advocate for clients in court, depositions, and mediation sessions
Required Qualifications:
  • Active membership in the American Bar Association (ABA)
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law institution
  • Admission to the Texas Bar is mandatory
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in family law within Texas is essential
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance
  • Ability to effectively track billable hours and utilize legal technology
  • Strong multitasking skills and resilience in high-pressure situations
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and dependability are vital
  • Problem-solving abilities and a focus on results are highly valued
  • Previous management experience or leadership roles are preferred
  • A reliable internet connection and a conducive remote work environment are necessary
