Position Summary:
We are in search of a Family Law Associate Attorney who possesses a deep commitment to family law and is enthusiastic about contributing to our practice. This hybrid position offers a blend of in-office and remote work, allowing for flexibility while ensuring active participation in case management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for clients in family law cases, including divorce, custody, and support matters.
- Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct thorough legal research to inform case strategies.
- Represent clients in court and during negotiations.
- Manage a reasonable caseload to provide personalized, high-quality service.

Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

- Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and work independently.
- Familiarity with legal research tools and case management software.

Compensation: $105,000 - $120,000 annually
Additional Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court and provide legal advice in family law cases.
- Maintain organized files to ensure timely access to updates for team members.
- Guide clients through conflict resolution, analyze legal issues, and negotiate on their behalf.
- Create various legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Facilitate effective case management through clear communication with clients and paralegals.
Essential Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience specifically in family law cases in Texas is required.
- Successful completion of the bar exam and possession of a JD degree from an accredited law school is mandatory.
- Active membership in the American Bar Association (ABA) is required.
- Admission to the Texas Bar is essential.
- Proof of a valid Texas Driver's License and automobile insurance is necessary.
- Proficiency in tracking billable hours is crucial.
- Advanced skills in MS Word and Excel, with a quick learning ability for new software.
- Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and reliability are key attributes.
