Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analyses of small molecules and polymers using advanced techniques such as Ion Chromatography (IC), Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC), Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS), Gas Chromatography (GC), Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC), and High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all laboratory work in electronic notebooks, produce technical reports, and ensure effective communication with both colleagues and clients.
  • Oversee daily laboratory operations, including instrument upkeep, chemical waste management, and maintaining a clean working environment.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the organization, including research and development, process development, and technical services.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline is required; an advanced degree is advantageous.
  • 2-5 years of practical experience with Ion Chromatography (IC) and Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) is essential. Experience with LC-MS, HPLC, UPLC, and/or GC-MS is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary for success in this role.
