Job Description

At Spectrum, we're committed to providing a comprehensive internship experience that combines professional development, networking opportunities, and mentorship. As a Data Scientist Intern, you'll be an essential part of two teams: your respective department and your Intern peer group.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Support the Field Operations Business Planning team to provide data analysis and support for assigned business units.
  • Conduct an array of analysis in categories that may include headcount/staffing, capital project, capital labor, lost CPE, materials issuance, and/or other relevant operating or performance analysis with operational analytics.

**Requirements:**

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree.
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program.
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
  • Experience with analytical and statistical software.
  • Experience using a data science toolkit such as Python or R.
  • Comprehensive level SQL skills.

  • Organizational skills.
  • Problem solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Software including Adobe, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
