About Our Team
At Glens Falls Hospital, we take pride in having the largest team of audiologists and hearing aid specialists in the region. Our compassionate and skilled audiology team collaborates to elevate the quality of life for our patients. We work in conjunction with otolaryngology, primary care, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations, treatments, and counseling for patients of all ages with hearing and balance disorders.
  • Perform assessments including comprehensive hearing evaluations, tympanometry, and tinnitus evaluations.
  • Provide recommendations and counsel patients and their families regarding evaluation results.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and maintain electronic medical records.
  • Formulate audiological treatment plans and monitor patient progress.

Qualifications:
  • Doctorate Degree (AuD) in Audiology or current AuD student in externship.
  • New York State license in Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispenser registration required.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License for travel between sites.
  • CPR Certification required (or to be completed within 6 months of hire).

Salary Information:
The expected base rate for this position is $30.57 to $56.11 per hour, determined based on experience, education, and certifications.
