Job Summary

The Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities. This position oversees various aspects of our operations, including safety protocols, operator training, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with dispatching units and scheduling projects on a daily basis.
  • Communicate with clients, providing exceptional customer service on a daily basis.
  • Support business development and improve operational efficiency on a daily basis.
  • Review operator daily paperwork, including trip tickets, FLRA, and DOT logs.
  • Ensure operators follow Badger's maintenance policies and procedures.
  • Deliver materials to units in the field as required.
  • Assist with monthly safety meetings, preparing agendas and conducting inspections.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in one of the following areas: vacuum, pump trucks, commercial underground construction, oil and gas, underground utility, waste, equipment rental, or trucking/fleet management.
  • Valid CDL preferred.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Mechanical skills preferred.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Computer skills and strong organizational skills required, with a preference for Oracle or similar systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take on new tasks.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty.
  • Must be able to repetitively sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl.
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods.
  • Confined Space Entry may be required to accomplish tasks for some clients when applicable.
  • Must be cleared to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Must be able to climb ladders and work from stationary platforms at elevated heights.
  • Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts.
Compensation

In accordance with applicable law, the hiring compensation range for this role is $70,000 to $82,000. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
