Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at Vaco. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing corporate financial reporting, accounting, and audit compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Manage the preparation and review of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams to implement financial reporting processes and improve financial performance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5-8 years of accounting experience, including at least 5+ years in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or an operational accounting role in an investment management company.
  • Technical Skills: Technical experience with GAAP, SOX, SEC reporting practices, and knowledge of technical accounting topics such as ASC 842 Leases.
  • Communication and Leadership: Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong leadership skills to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, or finance required.
  • Certifications: Active CPA required.
