Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced researcher to lead our research initiatives at the Cancer Support Community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and oversee multiple psychosocial oncology research projects, including conceptualization, planning, and execution.
  • Develop and execute research budgets, track progress, and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Lead efforts to secure funding for new research initiatives and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop grant proposals.
  • Analyze and interpret data, create reports, and present findings to various audiences.

Requirements:

  • A doctoral degree in social or behavioral sciences, psychology, health economics, social work, public health, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in mixed-methods research, particularly in psychosocial outcomes and interventions related to cancer and chronic illness.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis using SPSS and qualitative analysis using Nvivo.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
