Job Description

Raba Kistner Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Project Manager to join our Project Control team in a dynamic role that requires strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Program Manager/Director in extending clients/owners capabilities in project organization, planning, programming, administration, and design/construction management of buildings, infrastructure, and facilities.
  • Work on entire range of project activities from initiation/feasibility to close out, utilizing project management tools, techniques, procedures, and processes to meet or exceed project objectives (scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client/owner satisfaction).
  • Observe construction to verify the contractor is maintaining the published schedule and quality control efforts.
  • Manage and schedule project meetings and create minutes and action items to track and follow through to completion to ensure all project members are fulfilling their assigned requirements.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management highly preferred.
  • 5-10 years' experience in construction management, Project Management Professional (PMP), and Project Management Software certifications and training are a plus.
  • Posses a current valid state issued driver's license and meet company's auto insurability requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good oral and written communications skills and ability to work in teams at different levels within the organization.
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Self-motivated with good attendance record.
  • Able to lead and make decisions.
  • Able to predict, resolve, and/or avoid future problems.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stop, and talk.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to drive vehicle short and/or long distances.
  • Frequently required to use hands and reach.

Work Environment:

  • Potential exposure to movement of heavy equipment on construction or roadway sites.
  • Potential exposure to hazardous dangerous chemicals and solvents, noise, dust, fumes, grease and oils, radiant and electrical energy, and vibration.
