We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Filing Senior Manager to join our team. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for ensuring excellence in delivery for the entire Tax Filing organization.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the client delivery of tax filing, directly and indirectly, through colleagues and managers.
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to clients and partner teams.
- Resolve escalations promptly and represent Tax Filing effectively in client meetings.
- Monitor and audit tasks to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Lead process enhancement efforts and drive positive outcomes.
- Develop, review, and communicate completion of Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Support and provide timely research on compliance and regulatory issues.
- Facilitate issues requiring higher level escalation.
- Ensure and support compilation, reporting, and analyzing of metrics.
- Ability to utilize metrics to drive improvements and close process gaps.
- Resolve and facilitate open items to resolution ensuring alignment with Tax Filing point of view.
- Educate clients and provide subject matter expertise for payroll tax filing.
- Mentor and develop managers and colleagues, to include performance and accountability.
- Manage Tax Filing suppliers, as appropriate, to support accurate and timely delivery.
- Coordinate and/or provide needed training for new colleagues or processes.
- Coordinate and support SOP development, training, and communication to team.
- 7+ years payroll tax filing or a related field.
- Display advanced understanding of payroll tax filing and knowledge of regulations and legislative requirements.
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- 3+ years client interaction and management experience.
- 5+ years people management experience.
- Experience leading managers and/or team leads.
- Possess exceptional computer skills with current technical knowledge.
- Experience with Payroll tax software.
