Job Summary:

As a Front Desk Agent at Hilton Garden Inn San Diego Old Town, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience. You will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, handling guest inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise. If you are a people person with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including checking guests in and out, handling room assignments, and resolving any issues related to guest rooms.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, escalating issues to management as needed.
  • Process guest payments, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, including check-in and check-out times, room assignments, and any issues or concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with other hotel staff, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage teams, to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on hotel policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and credit card transactions.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
