Banquet Bartender Job Description

The Marriott Savannah Riverfront is seeking a skilled Banquet Bartender to provide exceptional beverage service to guests attending banquets, weddings, and other special events. As a Banquet Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch service while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to all health and safety standards
  • Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed to ensure seamless service
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Banquet Bartender or similar role, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional service
  • Excellent knowledge of a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including mixology techniques and ingredients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, with a strong focus on maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent

This is an on-call position, with a focus on providing exceptional service to guests during conventions and special events. As a Banquet Bartender, you will receive complimentary parking and one shift meal, as well as Marriott perks worldwide.
