Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Bartender to join our team at Marriott International. As a Banquet Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to our guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beverages to guests according to their specifications.
  • Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
  • Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks and stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
  • Transport supplies to the bar set-up area and wash soiled glassware.
  • Remove soiled wares from the bar top and tables and place them in designated areas.
  • Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs to the team.
  • Process all payment methods and count the bank at the end of the shift.
  • Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience is not required.
  • License or certification is not required.
