About the Role

As a Transportation Engineer, you will be responsible for leading traffic planning, studies, design, and operations tasks and projects. You will work collaboratively with others to develop innovative solutions for traffic management, signal systems, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead traffic planning, studies, design, and operations tasks and projects
  • Collaborate with others to develop innovative solutions for traffic management, signal systems, and ITS

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 15 years of experience in traffic engineering, traffic operations, or ITS projects
  • Engineering Intern (EI) certificate or Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • Working knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
  • Working knowledge of software including Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, VISSIM or other similar software
  • Traffic operations and signal timing experience is a plus
  • Local industry knowledge and experience, preferred
