Job Title: Engineering Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team at FirstCarbon Solutions. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for designing, performing, and overseeing the engineering, design, and construction of remedial systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of project documents in accordance with client requirements and company guidelines and procedures.
  • Primary contact and interface with clients and regulators.
  • Provide technical oversight on project-specific engineering requirements.
  • Designs and oversees engineering projects.
  • Management of remediation system operation and maintenance projects.
  • Manages assigned projects, including budget tracking, invoice approval, and team management.
  • Participate in the proposal and budget creation process.
  • Supervises the Level I and II staff remotely or occasionally on-site.
Requirements:
  • Professional Engineering Registration (PE) preferred.
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPR.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management.
  • 5-10 years of professional consulting experience in Site Assessment, Characterization, and Remediation.
  • Experience and understanding of groundwater extraction and treatment systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

The position operates in both a professional office setting and outdoor settings relating to engineering fieldwork. Staff should be equally comfortable in both environments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, stoop, and lift. The employee may spend extended periods sitting in front of a computer or laptop. The employee is required to have finger dexterity. Specific vision abilities this job requires include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
