Job Description

Civil Engineer - Support Services

Overview of the Position

Ecompex, Inc., a premier Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking a high-level Civil Engineer to provide supportive services for the U.S. Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit - Oakland, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing administrative, professional, and technical support in design and associated project management to facilitate the overall objectives of CEUO.
  • Directly/Indirectly facilitating the preparation of engineering calculations, design documents, and completing/supporting tasks associated with such actions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Registration as a professional civil or structural engineer in a State within the United States, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.
  • In-depth project management experience managing multi-discipline, multi-faceted projects related to real property facilities.
  • In-depth design experience in civil/structural engineering.
  • Knowledge of engineering design principles required for waterfront facilities.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Windows 10, MS Office, and Federal Government Contracting (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must pass a background check.
Work Environment

Primary work location: U.S. Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit - Oakland, CA.

Moderate travel may be required to complete the scope of work-related responsibilities.
