Job Overview

As a Project Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional setting and work alongside world-class professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with evaluation of field conditions and acceptance testing.
  • Support quality assurance and quality control engineering materials testing.
  • Apply survey knowledge to assist with project layout and checking of work to confirm work is in conformance with plans and specifications.
  • Review project drawings and coordinate any RFIs and contract changes.
  • Provide document control assistance for correspondence, submittals, design releases, etc.
  • Initiate engineering design clarifications.
  • Perform quantity tracking and productivity analysis for maximization of operation efficiency.
  • Assist with preparing and updating project schedule and interact with all involved in the scheduling decision processes.
  • Respond to field for design clarification and manage subcontractors' field operations, verify contract payments.
  • Provide design assistance to the project engineer for the design of temporary structures using computer-aided design tools.
Requirements
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Industry experience or enrolled in a Construction Management or Civil Engineering program.
Benefits

Hourly Rate - $18.00 to $25.00 dependent on the level of education and/or prior industry experience.
