Position Overview

Under the guidance of the Program Representative III (Supervisor), the Program Representative II (PR II) plays a vital role in evaluating and analyzing investigative cases, allegations, and citations. This position also provides support in addressing matters related to case assessments, enforcement actions, and consumer grievances. The PR II is instrumental in the research and formulation of policies, procedures, and regulations pertinent to the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR).

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess investigative cases and consumer complaints.
  • Assist in the development of regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective enforcement of regulations.

Work Environment

The role involves standard office duties, which may include sitting, standing, and occasional lifting of materials up to twenty (20) pounds. The incumbent will work a standard 40-hour week in a controlled office environment, utilizing various office equipment and software applications.

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel within an assigned geographical area is necessary. The incumbent must be prepared to travel by air and state vehicle to fulfill job responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • A valid California Driver's License (CDL) is required.
  • Medical clearance is mandatory prior to employment.
  • A clean driving record is essential, free from any revocation or suspension of relevant licenses.
