Job Summary

The Department of Consumer Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Program Representative II to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and assessing investigative cases, accusations, and citations related to consumer protection. You will also assist in the research and development of policy, procedures, and regulations related to the Bureau of Automotive Repair.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess investigative cases, accusations, and citations related to consumer protection.
  • Assist in the research and development of policy, procedures, and regulations related to the Bureau of Automotive Repair.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective case management and resolution.
  • Provide excellent customer service to consumers and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working 40 hours per week during regular business hours. The incumbent will work in an office setting with artificial lighting and temperature control. Daily access to a personal computer and other standard office equipment is essential. The incumbent may be required to travel throughout the state to attend meetings and perform other responsibilities.

Special Requirements

  • Valid California driver's license.
  • Medical clearance prior to being hired.
