We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DACH Sales Manager to join our team at Netatmo. As a key member of our Sales Team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and business development in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing distributors and identify new opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with indirect customers across channels (retailers, e-tailers, DIY, APR, etc.) and explore new channels and partnerships.
- Collaborate with the Channel Marketing team to develop and execute marketing and promotional plans.
- Manage regional SOA and marketing budget to ensure ROI.
- Manage stock at distribution and customer levels, covering forthcoming activities.
- Provide regular sales reports and data analysis to support business decisions.
- Support customers on RMA topics and ensure proper management with local RMA partners.
- Be responsible for P&L, ensuring forecast accuracy and regular updates.
- Collaborate with Amazon and eShop teams to ensure all channels' growth.
- Launch new products, organize trainings in local language with distributors and Netatmo training manager.
- Regular market analysis, including competition, market trends, and local specificities related to smart home topics.
- Regular communication with Netatmo marketing team to ensure adaptation of marketing and PR strategy to DACH region needs.
- Participate in local fairs and smart home events to ensure brand presence and recognition growth.
- Regular customer meetings and visits, including store checks with Channel Marketing manager.
- Develop PRO channel (plumbers, electricians, real estate, integrators) with local Legrand teams.
- Cooperate with Channel Marketing person in the team for the success of activities.
- Cooperate within Netatmo organization with all departments involved in sales topics (marketing, logistics, customer care).
- Cooperate with Legrand local subsidiaries to support sales initiatives and clients' needs.
- Quarterly visits to Netatmo headquarters for quarterly business reviews sessions.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in high-tech premium products or moving to the next step in your career using previous business and market experiences.
- High degree of autonomy to take quick decisions, capable of solving complex problems.
- Customer-oriented, data-driven, analytical approach to decision-making.
- Good networker, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player and able to convince others to join your (or company) directions, if necessary, show an open-minded business approach with willingness to be flexible.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest in high-tech, IoT, and smart home.
- German and English are obligatory, French is a plus.
Ideally located in Germany with quarterly visits to Netatmo headquarters. Work from Paris office is possible.
