Position Overview:
The Field Admissions Specialists play a vital role in identifying enthusiastic and driven individuals eager to enhance their skills at Universal Technical Institute.
This position involves collaborating closely with the local campus to attract students and promote awareness of Universal Technical Institute and its educational offerings.
The representative will manage a designated territory, primarily within a 120-mile radius of a UTI campus.
The ideal candidate will possess a customer-centric, outgoing demeanor that can inspire, engage, and positively influence others.
Building connections and effectively communicating with diverse individuals while proactively fostering relationships is essential. Adherence to established guidelines and procedures is required.
Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, results-driven environment while effectively prioritizing tasks to optimize productivity.
*This is a remote role, but candidates must reside in and travel throughout the Northern Indiana region.*

Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Development:
Cultivates new partnerships and enhances existing connections with dealerships, industry stakeholders, high schools, and local communities.
Event Participation:
Conducts in-person presentations at high schools and represents UTI at various offsite events.
Consultative Approach:
Performs informative and professional in-home interviews utilizing technical expertise. Maintains a CRM database for effective follow-up with prospective students.
Public Speaking:
Engages with educators at high schools and other educational institutions to motivate their students to consider Universal Technical Institute.
Product Knowledge:
Keeps abreast of Universal Technical Institute programs, financing options, and other relevant information to address prospective student inquiries during presentations.
Performance Metrics:
Achieves or surpasses monthly and quarterly enrollment targets through effective outreach and recruitment strategies.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory criteria and procedures established by external authorities and UTI.
- Performs additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
Experience:
Public speaking experience is preferred.
Industry knowledge is a plus.
3 to 5 years of outside sales experience is preferred.
Must pass a background check, including MVR.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Interviews may be conducted in person or virtually.
Presentation Skills:
Strong presentation and sales capabilities are essential.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to analyze and report data is necessary.
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to build effective relationships, work independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a customer service mindset, and be self-motivated and organized while managing their territory.
