Position Overview
In the role of Healthcare Implementation Specialist, you will report directly to the National Business Director at Syneos Health. This position is pivotal in leading the training and support for a novel healthcare provider platform tailored for our long-acting injectable product line. As a field-based position, you will engage directly with healthcare providers, ensuring effective rollout and ongoing support of this innovative offering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison for key healthcare customers across the United States during program onboarding, ensuring seamless communication and support.
- Facilitate training sessions for the training department on essential implementation and usage protocols, and act as the training lead for new team members.
- Oversee vendor partnerships, addressing any challenges that arise during the implementation and maintenance phases.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of training manuals for end users and account managers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including field account managers, legal, and compliance teams, to uphold appropriate responsibilities and messaging for field teams.
- Work alongside marketing and IT departments to address internal needs, resources, and technological capabilities.
- Assist in the reporting and contractual obligations related to account implementation and progress tracking.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to the Syneos Health headquarters as required.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in Marketing or Life Sciences.
- A minimum of 9 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
- At least 6 years of specialty experience, particularly with Specialty Pharmacies and Distributors.
- Demonstrated sales experience with injectable products and familiarity with the buy-and-bill process.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration within an integrated account team model, involving multiple field-based team members.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, along with analytical capabilities, business acumen, decision-making skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on follow-up.
- Experience working with healthcare providers to procure, manage, and administer cold chain treatment products.
- Leadership and training experience are essential.
- Comprehensive understanding of the current insurance landscape and the complexities of reimbursement across various payers.
- Knowledge of the HIV market is preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically as needed, including overnight stays.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $165,000 to $172,500, reflecting the anticipated low and high for this role at Syneos Health. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skills, and proficiency in the role. Additionally, some positions may offer eligibility for commissions or bonuses based on individual and company performance.
