Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise staff to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Information Systems unit.
  • Collaborate with other Metro units, City of Madison Information Technology staff, and external organizations to foster positive relationships and open communication.
  • Manage and implement new technology projects and feature implementations.
  • Provide or monitor project documentation and proactively monitor and test existing Metro systems to ensure full functionality.
Requirements:
  • Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in the transportation or information technology field with a focus on staff and technology project management.
  • At least two (2) years of experience as a team lead involving staff oversight, leadership, or supervision.
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
